The GeekFest: Fall 2002

Saturday Early:

Pretty technology!
Sleeping arrangements are not ideal.
The dining room. LAN parties always wreak havoc on furniture arrangements.
Bob wants you ... to play Quake.
Mike G. looking unusually environmentally friendly with his tee-shirt and curl of ivy from the planter beside him.
Tracy doesn't look awake, but after four or so cups of coffee, she prepared a wonderful breakfast. As we are not all that young anymore, good morning nourishment is necessary to survive the gaming ahead.
Mike M. looking domestic as he checks out Tracy's french toast.
Saturday Afternoon:
Snack finding and confabulation. Denis looks like he's spinning Jennifer (aka Furry) a tale.
Denis starting early on the sissy drinks. Despite recovering from the flu, he still managed to hold it together in Wolfenstein. Barely.
Rob W. smiling 'cause he actually brought his computer this time and was able to fully 'fest.
Grant finding patches through our country Net connection and trying to ignore Tracy's Vin fetish screensaver and desktop. That might have been part of Wilberforce's problem; all those Vin jpgs.

The Moment
After all the many Geekfests both here and at friends, this was the first time we had virus issues. By the next one I expect everyone will have Norton on and up-to-date.
